The little dog in the picture belonged to a guy playing football on the beach. The doggie came over sniffing around but ended up staying for a while since it was getting such good lovin' from the children! Don't get any ideas kids...two of you are enough to take care of!

Beach Day
A few weekends ago we had the first warm, sunny, beautiful weekend weather. So after Timo's baseball, we loaded up the sand toys, beach chairs and snacks and headed for the beach! Love living a few blocks from the beach...

Play of the Planets
Here is a video of the kids learning about orbiting planets at school. As you can see, the teachers drew the solar system on the ground and each "planet" rotated around the sun. Such a fun way to learn! It's hard to see Cameron but Timo is the planet right next the sun, Mercury, so he just goes around and around.
Cameron pops up at 51sec, balancing on her line, I think she is Pluto. Timo is at 1:12 and is on for a while.

First Tball Game!!
Timo had is first ever baseball game two weeks ago. Their first few games got rained out so there was extra excitement built up for this game. Basically, this is how a t-ball game works. There are 3 innings and the inning is over when each member of the team has hit...no one is ever out because the kids just don't quite know yet who the throw the ball to to get an out. Thank goodness it's just three innings...it took an hour to play the game!
I just love this picture of Timo a fellow mom took and sent me. I think this will go in his high school yearbook one day...
The first two inning each child hits and runs one base at a time until everyone one the team has hit...that's the end of the inning. Here is timo's first up to bat and making his way around the bases till he gets home!
Top of the second inning...his second time at bat!

Bottom of the 9th...or, rather, bottom of the 3rd inning. Timo was playing third base! I like the view from their baseball field, pure San Francisco. And I really like that the coach makes them slap hands and say "good game" to each member of the other team at the end of the game. Good game Tigers!

Timo really disliked his baseball socks...and who could blame him, they were about 10 sizes to big! We had to triple fold them down just to get them at his knee. So as soon as the game was over I found him in his seat trying to take his socks off.
A little snack after the game...we'll deserved. It was such a fun game! We're so proud of our little baseball player!

Cameron Time
While Timo was receiving so much attention following his surgery, we wanted to make sure Cameron didn't feel left out. We planned several playdates with friends, little outings with Mommy and Daddy as well as a special all day Mommy date to paint pottery. It's was a little strange for us, as well as Cameron, to be focused on one child at a time....strange. But I think she loved her individual attention. We stopped by to see Daddy at his office one afternoon while on a Popsicle run for Timo. Thanks to the office snack room, Cameron got a little doughnut treat!
One evening Young came home a little early to take Cameron out on a dinner date to her favorite restaurant, Pasta Pomodoro. I think it's her fav place because her dinner comes with ice cream at the end...
The following Saturday, Cameron and Mommy spent the whole day together while Daddy stayed home to nurse Timo back to health. We started out at a Color Me Mine pottery painting. Cameron picked out a picture frame to paint and wanted her name on it...so that's what we did. She really had fun and did a pretty good job...I see future painting sessions in our future...maybe a plate with a hand print next time.
We headed to Trader Joes next for groceries...she loves to push the little carts. She was picking out yogurt for Timo to eat because it was soft. Then out to lunch for, what else, pasta!
We had one last beautiful day of their spring break so I took Cameron out for some sun and a little ice cream. Are you sensing a theme with Cameron and her favorite things to do...eat! She's just so stinkin' sweet!

Easter!
Since blogger has changed format and I can't quite get the hang of it...I'm just gonna post Easter pictures without much script. It's gotten more difficult for me to post two pictures side by side now and my script ends up on the side or split between pictures...ugh.
So the long and short of our wonderful Easter celebration was packed with church, Easter Brunch with friends, an egg hunt, Easter dinner and lots and lots of chocolate kisses!

A good day was had by all! My favorite part was every time we asked the kids to say "cheese" for a picture, they shouted "Cheese!! Christ the Lord is risen, Cheese!" Guess we got our point across about what Easter is really about!

Easter Baskets
The Easter Bunny made his usual stop this year! Yay!

Timo plundered his basket immediately while Cameron took her time pulling each item out, examine it, playing and then moving on to the next.
The biggest hit ended up being the cheapest..these little grow bug. Little capsules of bugs that grow when you put them in water. It kept them occupied all morning while we got things ready for church and Easter Brunch to follow. Gotta love simple, easy, time consuming fun!

(ok, so blogger has changed it's format and I'm still trying to figure it out. please forgive any off centered typing or phots..)
Timo has been asking for a watch and I was so excited when I found these little slap watches! I got each one in their favorite color (green and pink).
