We had our 7th Annual Ornament Party this past weekend. Young started the tradition before we got married as a way to get his tree decorated...and we still continue it to spend time with our friends and get some really great ornaments!! This year was a little trying because of having two babies nipping at our heels the whole time. But we pulled everything together, were a little behind in getting the food out, and got some really special ornaments. Even though this years theme was "O Holy Night", it seemed homemade ornaments took the majority. It was tough picking the winner but it had to go to the "Twin's First Christmas" ornament from Liz and Salvador Rossa.
The runner up...Alex playing to my soft side of UNC and Marge trying to use the cuteness of our kids...it almost worked!Liz and Annelise were the real stars of the evening. They spent the whole party chasing after the kids, entertaining them, feeding them and helping get ready for bed. What troopers!
All in all we had a great evening and it was so special to have all our friends around us celebrating the start of the Christmas season!

Had so much fun at the party - totally thought there was no way we would win the contest due to our blatant disregard of the theme! :)
