After all that work, they got to pull the wishbone and have a piece of pie.

I was able to get most of the cooking done, table finished and even browsed the Black Friday ads while the kids were gone, but once they got home, we had little time left till our guests arrived. I really wanted to get a family picture infront of the table this year...which we did, only I was still in my cooking t-shirt. Oh well!
Good food and good time with friends. Cameron and Anjali tackled the fire truck puzzle while Timo and Jonathan played games on the ipod...such girls and boys!
At one point, we were all distracted and our pastor's son, Brady (2 years), decided to open all the puzzle boxes and dump them out. Poor Pastor Ryan, he insisted on putting all the right pieces back in the right box...all 10 puzzles!
Pumpkin whoopie pies for dessert...yum!
So many things to be thankful for this year...my cup overflows...
