We visited Young's Aunt and Uncle one day at their restaurant. They have this nice Chinese restaurant about 25mins away so we loaded up one of the rainy days and headed over for a visit and lunch. They have these old western saloon swinging doors leading back to the restroom that the kids love walking in and out of...back and forth, back and forth. And a swinging door from the restaurant to the kitchen...I'm surprised no fingers were smashed and no one tripped over them.
Timo enjoyed being back in the kitchen (like his mommy) and was getting a few cooking lessons from his Uncle.
They serve these yummy doughnuts at the end of the meal, just fried dough rolled in granulated sugar, that weren't too sweet so Timo really liked them. And they have this cute "aquarium" as you walk in that Cameron could not get enough of. (it was a plug-in with plastic fish) Bless her heart, Young's cousin, Jung-Hi, held her up for the longest time so she could look at the "pish".
The kids did great sitting and eating lunch. The highlight, other than the doughnuts, was drinking the tea out of big kid cups. Aunt and Uncle were such great sports with the kids, letting them run all around even though they were open for business and having a busy lunch. And they took such good care to make yummy special food for them. What a great time we all had!
