Summer Break

We have started our summer vacation with some nice hot weather here in SF!  We took advantage of the weather by getting outdoors and starting our summer by the pool!  Our friends Liz and Salvador live in Pleasenton and invited us out to use their pool at their gym.  There was a kiddie pool that was perfect!  Timo and Cameron aren't the most adventurous swimmers so it was a perfect pool for them to play, swim and feel safe. 

Daddy even got to take a nap.  He has been working so hard lately, he was in much need of an afternoon nap...

And the kids had their turn napping on the way home...swimming is the best!

We also took a trip to one of our favorite museums, the Discovery Museum.  They had a new exhibit that I didn't really understand how it all fit together, but the kids had fun with it.

 Then we hit some of our our favorite spots...the painting room, magna tiles, wave room and the rock quarry.  It's funny, it's been about a year since we've been to the museum but they remember most everything there was to do.  It felt really odd this time, Timo and Cameron were about the oldest kids running around...I feel like we'll have outgrown this place in another year...so sad.

On a side note...we'll be leaving tomorrow to head to Ohio for a month!  We'll be spending our summer with Young's family.  I hope to be able to post a few post while I'm there but his folks don't have Internet so I'll have to do it spotty at Wi-Fi cafes or something.
