Update on Timothy

Thank you to all of you that have been praying for Timothy. He is almost back to 100%! He was really sick over the weekend but I haven't been posting about it b/c I was still waiting to hear back from the doctors. He was running a 105 fever all day on Friday and we spent much of the day at the doctors office trying to get it down. After many tests they realized his blood oxygen was low again and ordered chest x-rays to see what was in his lungs...they thought maybe RSV again or phenomia. His fever lowered to about 102 so they released us to go home along with antibiotics and an Albuterol inhaler...which he hates! The x-ray showed his lungs were full of some sort of infection but RSV was ruled out, thank goodness.
Saturday evening his fever finally broke and stayed down. His breathing became better and he was a little more playful. He is now back to his old self, just a crusty nose...guess the antibiotics worked well. The doctors said because he had RSV as a baby, he will likely have breathing problems whenever he gets the simplest cold, which is what happened. The damage from RSV will follow him the next few years, ugh! But he should out grow it by early childhood...so we're praying he doesn't have it much longer or any other long term issues. Thank you agian for all your prayers!!!

Our prayers are with you. Emmaline had pneumonia the week she turned one. Took a lot of the celebration out of it and we are grateful she responded immediatly to antibiotics.
