Mrs. Clause and Christmas Tree

One of the first things we did when my Mom came to town was go have story time with Mrs. Clause. I was excited to take the kids, even though it was at the mall, so they would start to warm up to the whole sitting on Santa's lap thing...since story time was in his little sitting area and Mrs. Clause looked like Santa in her red dress. We ended up having a fun for a while but the stories were a little over the kids heads and they didn't last very long.

After about 15 minutes the kids were ready to go. The elves were handing out little plush toys as you left (we were the first to leave) and Granny took the kids to get some cookies!

Then we headed over to the Christmas tree lot to pick out our fantastic Christmas tree of 2010! The kids were having fun running in and out of the trees until they saw the wagons...then it was all about pulling wagons all over the lot!

The kids gave their approval of the tree Daddy pick out and we were done!
Granny trying to keep the kids occupied and dry while we tied the tree on top of the car...just as it was starting to rain!
It poured down rain that night so we had to wait to put up the tree...stay tuned for the finished product!
