Young and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary this past weekend and had a lovely day as a family and with friends. We spent the morning at the farmer's market tasting fruit, eating breakfast and checking out all there is to see at the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero.
We started out at my favorite bakery at the market, The Downtown Bakery, with a doughnut muffin...I only got one bite! Then we enjoyed a fried egg sandwich of which the kids ate all the bacon out of...I'm beginning to think our anniversary isn't really about just the two of us anymore...
Daddy and Cameron made their way through all the booths, snacking on fruit samples...how much more can they eat?
We took a stroll on the water's edge...so much to see...
Later in the afternoon we had some good friends come by for a visit and dinner. It was so great to see Tang family. They live a little ways out of SF and came up for the weekend for a little getaway. Their daughter, Karissa, is the exact same age as the twins and their son, Skyden, is 4 years old.
Timo was so happy to have an older little boy to play with...
Cameron and Karissa were hard at work creating works of art!
With all of our travels this summer, it was nice to have a relaxing day together, enjoying the twins and our friends. It just reminds me of how much our lives have changed since we said our "I do's" six years ago!
