The kids have a new book, The Runaway Pumpkin, that they love. I really like the author Kevin Lewis. We have a few other books by him, Chugga Chugga Choo Choo and My Truck is Stuck. He has a great way of writing with rhyming and rhythm. Young somehow always turns the book into these songs, which up front sound like so much fun, but in reality, it's a nightmare for me! Somehow I never "read" the books right according to the kids...I always hear "that's not how Daddy reads it!" So now I'm video taping and learning how to sing the books!
