Christmas in Old Sac

After the Polar Express we toured around Old Sac to see the Christmas sights. I had read that the local theater company does a "Night Before Christmas" skit and the timing worked out that it started right as we were getting off the train.

 A little Light saber action going on in the wild wild west!  Waiting on the show to start.

 The show started with a little history of Old Sac which I loved...I love history.  Then "T'was the Night..." started and was really fun.  It went through the whole story, acted on on the roof tops of a few of the buildings.  At the end they lite the the huge Christmas tree at the end of the street.

We had a really nice time on our trip to Sacramento.  It was just the thing to get us started in the Christmas spirit.  And it's a good thing the kids were already in their jammies because they were fast asleep before we even made it out of the Sacramento on our way back home.
