We typically hit all the different tree lighting's in SF to kick off the Christmas season. We missed one this year because, for some reason, they scheduled the Ghirardelli Square tree on the same night as Union Square. Union Square won out. But first was Pier 29 the day before Thanksgiving.
Union Square/downtown was the Friday after Thanksgiving. We treat the kids to the train ride downtown to avoid all that traffic and parking.
Such a beautiful tree! And huge! The kids love it and love watching the ice skating. (maybe one day I'll be brave enough to take them out on the ice.) Yeah for the Christmas Season!!
