Bass Pro Shop & County Fair

Just down the road from Mom and Dad's is a new, huge Bass Pro Shop. Young's sister was telling me how big it was inside and sometimes they have kids activities. So we went down to check it out. This particular day there wasn't anything for kids going on, but that didn't stop us! It was huge and a just like a kid's play land in there. The 4-wheelers, boats, bow and arrows, boating, fishing, etc...it had it all! Two hours later we were finally ready to leave.
After the Bass Shop we headed over to meet our cousins at the County Fair.  It was just small enough for me to be able to take the kids around and not loose track of them.  We started with our first ever pony ride!
I love county fairs because it's mostly animals and farm equipment.  The kids love petting all the animals.
Once our cousins got there we hit the rides.  We only got to ride a few because the ride prices went up after 5pm.  Luckily at 5pm they close all the rides down for 30min...so the children thought the rides were done for the day.
After rides we did a little fishing and watched the chainsaw carving show.
Some yummy fried dough and fresh lemonade.
The children (well, really just Timo) wanted to play this ball toss game so we saved it for last.  I couldn't believe it when they actually got the ping pong ball in and each won a fish!  What in the world are we going to do with two goldfish??  But the kids were so happy to walk out holding their prize!  Gotta love the county fair!
