While in Ohio, Young unfortunately had to "work from home", meaning work from his parents house. So it was my job each day to get out of the house with the kids to give him some quiet to work in. Luckily there is a ton of stuff to do in the Toledo area. The first day we went to the children's museum called Imagination Station. I loved it...and so did the kids. Such a great children's museum. Seana was out of school for the summer so she tagged along with us all week too. So nice having an extra pair of hands!!
Timo tried his best to figure out how his little electrical current display worked.
They had a farming display that we loved. You know you're in the mid-west when they have corn in the sand boxes instead of sand! We went several places that had these pools with corn in them instead of sand.
Milking a cow (noticed the Ohio State on the cow) and a staff member pulled out a bunny for the kids to pet.
The museum was offering a craft that day, a pea necklaces. You "planted" a pea in a bag with water and tied it around your next. Wait six days for it to sprout. We left our plants at Harmony's house...hope they are growing!
There was an entire water room at this museum! We easily spent an hour just in this part. Timo constructed all these pipes together to make a long continuous water structure. Pretty impressive that it actually works!
A big favorite...water shooters aiming at various object to make the spin, turn, flip...
Funny that Ohio had an earthquake exhibit. Cameron build a building on the earthquake simulator...then we turned it on to see if it would stand...not so much.
A construction area...building paper airplanes. You know it's complicated when you need a step by step video to see how to fold the paper. But it worked! Timo's airplane sailed right through the triangle target.
Timo spent a lot of time in the building/construction area while Cameron found the music section. So fun to see how different they each are and where their interests lie.
A really cool "effects" room with all kinds of special effects to see. This one was a flash that created your image in a white screen. This mirror image was also really cool...along with a crooked house, tuning fork, voice altering machines, spinning needles, etc..so much.
Check out Cameron singing in the voice altering machine. She loves to sing...can you tell? She just kept singing and singing, making her voice change so long that small crowd gathered around. That's my little star!

Lot's of of levers and pulleys and. One launched a ball in the air into a giant basket and another was to pull and try to lift the weights to ring the bell. They tried their best...
I know Timo loves these marble run machines so I save this one for last. They all worked together to make the balls roll, twist, jump, etc over and over again. Such a fun museum, I can't believe we haven't been here before. Definitely will be going back!
